Why We Stood with UNAC/UHCP on the Strikeline.

We showed up because healthcare is an Inland Empire issue. When Kaiser Ontario nurses strike for safe staffing, our entire community feels the impact across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

Why This Strike Matters for the IE:

  1. Safe staffing saves IE lives - Healthcare workers shouldn't have to strike for basic patient safety.

  2. Frontline means frontline - IE healthcare workers carried us through the pandemic; we stand with them now.

  3. Solidarity in action - We build worker power where IE workers are struggling.

The Bigger Picture

This strike connects directly to LRC's mission: converting Inland Empire insecurity into organized strength. From our food distribution line to this strike line to union career navigation—it's all about building sustainable power for IE workers. Their fight today strengthens all our fights tomorrow right here in the Inland Empire.
